Updated: Nov 13, 2020

Welcome to an insight on an upcoming Jeweller in London, doing his thing properly!

"I have realised that a lot of people want to invest in a luxury that they can't afford, buying chains instead of investing in their future... to me jewellery is an investment, it is potential generational wealth. I want to be able to let people know the importance of jewellery...providing customers with greatest value for their money without making them bankrupt."

I had the pleasure to sit down and interview Aaron da jeweller, also known as The Sales Manager, Marketing Director and CEO of Treasure Ice Box.

AARON DA JEWELLER 'CEO': The interview

"I never thought that someone like me, a Black British man made grills... until I came across my friend (@ZA_Jewellers)"

What would you say your biggest inspiration has been so far?

"Growing up I used to be very into the whole Hip hop influence, watching people like Nelly, wearing his gold chains and the grills in his teeth... However I never thought that someone like me, a Black British man made grills... until I came across my friend (@ZA_Jewellers), I would say he is amongst one of my biggest inspirations for starting Treasure Ice Box, through this I just managed to keep seeing increased opportunities for new revenues, and here we are." Whats your favourite thing about making jewellery/ customising jewellery for people? "Nothing matches the Colours, The shine, getting a diamond and seeing the impact that it has on its surroundings, seeing the ability that a gem has to bring out the best in whatever I am customising, or the impact of good quality gold on a bracelet or a necklace. I believe that when a customer is wearing our products they are initially 'wearing their currency' , and so remembering this is what keeps my work to a high standard. As well as we must remember that what we deal with are layers of natural elements, coming straight from the source which fascinates me, and takes me back to my roots in Africa.

At Treasure Ice Box, we pride ourselves to create our customers vision, and so we believe collaboration with the customer and making them a part of our team is very important, creating something with my customer and being responsible for bringing it to life, is basically priceless"

What can you tell us about your future plans/ventures? "Right now I have something in the works with Big Tobz... watch out for that as I'm not going to talk too much just yet...What I will say though, is it will show the fruits of all my hard work."

"Through doing this trade I have realised that a lot of people want to invest in a luxury that they can't afford, buying chains instead of investing in their future, I have encounters with prospective clients and some will say 'I want to purchase this but I need this and this first', to me jewellery is an investment, it is potential generational wealth. I want to be able to let people know the importance of jewellery, the importance of buying the right materials suited to your needs and financial status without judgment, but instead to I want to bring my prospective customers up with me through showing them money management in relation to the purchasing of my products and products like mine, providing them with greatest value for their money without making them bankrupt. This is a basis of all my future plans."

Below we have Treasure Ice Box' Etsy page. which features their newest addition which is their customised LV Masks at discounted prices, now available for purchase.

Why Treasure Ice Box is an ethical business & worthwhile to give your money to

While talking to Aaron, what I discovered is that he has a big interest in the sustainability of his business, as well as giving back to the community.

He believes that through jewellery he can create services that are rooted to empower the next young jeweller.

Aaron believes that there are some negative connotations to Grills, chains, etc... He believes that through providing services to young people via collaborations with youth centres for jewellery building workshops, website building as well as provide vacancies to young people this can help push a narrative that Jewellery making is a worth while career, providing extra revenue for young aspiring jewellers.

He wants more than just his customers money, he believes in fulfilling his customer vision, while giving them their moneys worth... without bankrupting them.

This inspiring Jeweller is due to take over the world, with his humble presence and ability to understand his market, he has more than enough up his sleeve to take over the game.
